Good morning Man Utd fans
Mauricio Pochettino will reportedly refuse a move to Manchester United and stay at PSG.
Man Utd have eyed him as a potential replacement for Ralf Rangnick if he leaves his post as manager at the end of the season.
However, L’Equipe have reported that he is willing to stay in Paris, but only under certain conditions.
Pochettino wants the club to be in the best position to win the Champions League in the future.
And for that to happen, he wants to have more influence on certain decisions regarding the club’s strategy.
Another bad news is that Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
The 29-year-old midfielder will leave Old Trafford on a free transfer at the end of this season when his contract expires.
He was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in October last year but they couldn’t meet his hefty salary demands at the time.
However, last week the club inked a huge sponsorship deal with Spotify worth around £237million.
The deal means their famous home will be renamed the Spotify Camp Nou.
It’s also reviving the fortunes of the Spanish giants, which almost went bankrupt last year due to overspending.
In further transfer news, Manchester United are considering a summer move for Sevilla’s Yassine Bounou as they plan to reshuffle their goalkeeping ranks.
David de Gea has just 18 months left on his current contract, bringing the potential of a summer exit into play despite being one of United’s best players this season.
Dean Henderson is under contract until 2025 but is likely to be pushing for a move from Old Trafford after becoming frustrated with the complete lack of Premier League opportunities this season.
The Mirror report that Bounou has been on their radar for a summer move, sending scouts to watch the Morocco international and believes they can get him for around £25million.
