Man stabbed to death ‘after leaving barbecue shop’ as police launch manhunt for knife seller

A man has been stabbed to death after leaving a South London barbecue shop as police searched for the knife-wielding man.
Police flooded the area in Surbiton Road, Kingston, shortly after 7pm on Wednesday after a man was attacked.
Officers attended with ambulance crews but the man sadly died at the scene.
Police said his next of kin has been notified.
It is understood the victim had left a barbecue shop shortly before he was attacked nearby.
Police monitor the area outside a parade of stores as officers investigate.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Investigations into the situation are still ongoing.
“At the early stages of the investigation, there were no arrests.”

It happened after an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager died in an alleged stabbing.
Police stormed a home in Stretton, Staffordshire, around 1:35am on Saturday following reports of a stabbing.
A man, believed to be 19 years old, was treated at the scene on Bridgeside Road but died shortly afterwards despite the best efforts of paramedics.
