Man killed, four injured in West Baltimore shooting – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Five people were shot in West Baltimore on Friday night, police said. Police said a 36-year-old man did not survive.
Officers responded around 7:49 p.m. with a Shot Spotter alert at the 1300 block of Northwest Avenue, where they found the victims.

Four of the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Police Commissioner Michael Harrison was at the scene.
A woman at the scene told WJZ her husband was the victim.

“There was a shooting down there, five people were shot and of course, one of the bullets went into my husband,” said the woman who was waiting for her husband. “He seems sober, he is in Shock Trauma.”

Friday afternoon, one person was killed and six were injured in two separate shootings in east and central Baltimore. Three men were shot on Castle Street around midday, and four were shot, one dead, in a shooting on Laurens Street less than an hour later.
