Man from Ukraine watches live stream as blast hits building

A live stream from an activist in Ukraine captured the horrifying moment when a Russian airstrike slammed into a skyscraper directly overhead.
According to NBC Newsthe unidentified activist was calmly thanking donors for supporting those in Ukraine’s second largest city, Kharkiv, when a sudden roar made him stop and look up at the sky.
Almost immediately, a loud explosion seemed to knock him over – with his camera capturing debris falling directly overhead.



Longer footage shared on Tiktok Late Wednesday showed the activist jumping up and running into the building for cover.
Kharkiv, a city of nearly 1.5 million people, came under intense shelling in the first week of the Russian invasion when a 40-mile tank convoy appeared to stall on the approach to the capital, Kyiv.
Terrifying footage from Tuesday captured Rocket hit an important administrative building in the heart of the city, with a five-story apartment building that was also partially destroyed in the deadly attack.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi classified the Kharkiv bombings as a “war crime”.
Shelling continued as locals try to flee the city, and more attacks were reported on Thursday.
