A MAN has been charged with murder after a horrific house fire left one person dead and two missing.

Residents were seen jumping to the ground from third-floor windows 12ft to the ground as flames consumed the property.

One victim is presumed dead, while two others are still missing.

Police examining the debris said they were “very unlikely to find any more survivors.

Kingundu, formerly of Rowe Court, Reading, was tonight charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life, officials at Thames Valley Police said.

He will appear on the dock at Reading Magistrates Court tomorrow.
