Luis Guillorme is enjoying a hot start to Mets spring training

Here are some notable nuggets that happened during Monday’s Mets spring training session:

Louie, Louie

Luis Guillorme doubled the lead of the game. It was one of just two hits for the Mets in a 3-0 loss to the Marlins in Jupiter, Fla. The infielder scored in Saturday’s Mets’ Grapefruit League opener.

Jose Butto went two batters over 1 ¹/₃ innings by allowing two unearned runs in the seventh. Butto was transferred to minor league camp after the game.

I noticed

JD Davis was plunked for a second straight game. Davis was drilled in the left arm in the first inning but stayed in the game.
