Love Island star Remi says unaired altercations with Jacques ‘ruined his experience’

former island of love Star Remi Lambert has claimed unaired clashes with Jacques O’Neill “ruined” his experience on the show.

Remi, a Manchester model and rapper, was kicked off the island last week after a recoupling session left him alone.

Since leaving the villa, he has appeared in the Sunday (June 19) episode Love Island: Aftersun and has shared his thoughts on the show on social media.

He has also appeared in a new episode of the podcast Reality with Will Njobvupublished on Friday (June 24).

Remi spoke to fellow eliminated Afia Tonkmor and shared that he and rugby player Jacques have feuded on several occasions which have not been shown to the public.

“Me and Jacques had quite a few fights; It just wrecked my experience,” Remi explained. “That ruined it for me.”

He went on to disagree with explanations given by others about Jacques’ behavior as part of the rugby personality: “You can’t treat anyone like that.”

Remi is a “Love Island” fan himself

When Afia asked for the details of their disagreements, Remi gave an example of Jacques allegedly taunting him.

“‘My name is Remi, I’m tough, I’m from Manny.’ He did that all the time and it was so irritating,” he said.
