Lots of moose meander through the Massachusetts neighborhood

If you’ve ever wondered how moose cross the street in a Massachusetts town, here’s your answer.

Slowly and without hesitation. Of course, they also get support from the Sterling Fire Department.

Firefighters told FOX Weather they weren’t exactly sure how the moose got to town, but she was sighted on Greenland Road, Route 62 and Route 140 Tuesday.

The four-legged pedestrian also provided some entertainment for local residents as the mammal aided traffic in the area.

Jill Jarnis captured the moose on video as it wormed its way into a neighborhood yard.

Firefighters were able to get the moose back into the forest before injuries were reported.

According to images and posts on social media, the moose was sighted again around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning on the corner of Princeton and Wilder streets in the city.

The friendly giant migrated to the small Massachusetts town off Route 62.
