The German boss said: “In the end everything went quite smoothly. It was really hard work because they worked hard.
“It’s tough when you play against a team that marks man, you feel pressure without pressure.
“We had to be completely focused and we got there and in the end it was a great night.
“There may be some people who think you shouldn’t count penalties but you want the right people on the spot to drop them off and that’s what Mo did.

“Leeds had good spells but I think it’s difficult to play the way they did in the 90 minutes against a team like us.”
