Speaking to ET about the split between VPR Stars Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney told Vanderpump she knew more than she could say. “There is a story. As we’ve seen, there’s always a lot of commentary,” she explained. “I can’t say that exactly, but remember, I always know more than you do.”
She added, “I’m not ready to give up my throne just yet.”
Still, she said she didn’t know if VPR will be back in the tenth season. “I can’t tell if it’s coming back yet because I don’t know … You’ll have to wait and see,” she shared, but also said, “There’s always a lot of stories to tell.”

In a possible reference to recent New York Times bestseller Stassi Schroeder, Vanderpump implied that she would like to see some previously axed stars reinstated VPR. “I’ve been very open about hating the whole abort culture because they’re young and silly and they make mistakes,” she explained to ET.
She defended her horrible behavior by saying that we all screw up sometimes. “I understand why Bravo had to do this to take a stand, but I always believe people learn from it [their mistakes,] get second chances and grow,” she continued.
If Vanderpump had her way, she would have punished them head-on and helped them learn from how they impacted castmate Faith Stowers’ life. Vanderpump said, “…I would have slapped their wrists, slapped their butts and said, ‘OK, let’s work through this and understand empathy better and really grow out of this situation.'”

She added that this is a contrast to previous seasons where everyone was moving towards settling down. “We’re going back to a time where there were more singles than couples, which is wild,” she shared, “because … now it’s like everyone’s starting over.”
