Lil Nas X responds to conservative TV host’s criticism of ‘public indecency’ at the Grammys

Lil Nas X has responded to conservative TV host Greg Kelly’s comments about his 2022 Grammy performance.

On Monday (April 4th) the Greg Kelly reports The Newsmax host posted a tweet about Lil Nas X’s Grammy performance.

Adding a photo of the rapper wearing a sequenced crop top, Kelly wrote, “Lil Nas has a big problem (and so does America). Turn around, Nas. You’re a little fool with no talent!!!!”

The Montero The rapper responded to the TV host’s tweet a day later, writing, “Damn Greg all I did this time was wear a crop top.”

Kelly quickly replied, saying it wasn’t Lil Nas X’s shirt that upset him.

He wrote: “It’s not the Nas shirt. It was public fornication. They know that there are laws about this in certain “jurisdictions”. But then again, you’ve been to Vegas, so who the hell knows. Conclusion: Sing and dance, but no public self-tapping. decency!”

The 22-year-old rapper then ended the discussion and replied to Kelly with an apology: “Sorry. Have a great night.”

Noting the rapper’s apology, the TV presenter wrote, “Didn’t enjoy the performance. This shouldn’t have been on prime time TV. But I can’t deny that you have real talent. And it’s not nice to call someone a fool! You called me good-natured. n.p. Good luck, continued success, just make it a little quieter next year!”

Lil Nas X performed a medley of his song “Industry Baby” with rapper Jack Harlow at the Grammys.
