Pop star Mabel made a surprise appearance alongside her mother, Swedish singer Neneh Cherry, and the pair posed for pictures together.
She presented Neneh with the iconic award, and the star said in her acceptance speech: “The reality is that none of this would have really happened without the inner sanctity of my family, my family – you know who you are, and all the wonderful visions I’ve come up with and all the new visions that are bringing me to life. nothing, it takes an entire village.”
Fender, Little Simz, Wet Leg, Wolf Alice, Billie Eilish, Rina Sawaya and Chvrches all scored multiple nominations at the event.
Pop star Mabel has also been seen on the red carpet with her chart-topping mother, Swedish singer Neneh Cherry.
