Kim Kardashian shocks fans at People’s Choice Awards for ‘thanking’ ex Kanye West as romance with Pete Davidson turns hot

KIM Kardashian stuns in a sexy see-through black jumpsuit and shocks fans when she talks about her ex Kanye West at the People’s Choice Awards tonight.

Before “taking the whole vacation” with Pete Davidson, the reality star attended the A-list ceremony in Los Angeles to receive the prestigious Fashion Icon award for many show stops over the years.

Actress Tracee Ellis Ross, 49, presented People’s Choice Award came to the brunette as her mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloe Kardashian proudly watched from the audience.

In her speech, Kim, 41, thanked the many people who have helped shape her wardrobe in recent years, but most notably her ex-husband.

Appearing moved by honor, SKIMS The designer said: “I am very humbled to be here.

“I started out as a wardrobe organizer and a stylist, so to win a fashion award it was a ‘grip me’ moment.

“Designers are willing to work with me and there were times when they weren’t. Lots of great designers like Zac Posen who really believed in me or could have started a conversation when they got a call from Kanye. ,” she said with a laugh.

“And thanks to Kanye for even introducing me to the world of fashion. I love fashion and I am inspired by so many people.

“It’s like a dream to wake up and wear these amazing clothes,” she concluded her speech.

Due to their ongoing divorce, fans were shocked when she mentioned and complimented Yeezy’s man.

“Kim only has style because of Kanye. I can’t believe she finally respects his name, thanks,” one viewer said.

Another wrote: “Kim Kardashian Wins 2021 Fashion Icon Award at PCAs Say What You Want, but Kanye really upped her fashion game. No hats.”

“Not that I saw Kim thanking Kanye in her speech and even acknowledging how he influenced her, wow don’t see that coming,” one fan tweeted.

Earlier today, The Sun exclusively revealed that the aspiring lawyer “invited Pete Davidson to Kris Jenner’s Christmas Eve party in her new $35 million mansion,” which is believed to be angered Kanye, 44.

KANYE VS. PETE?

The insider stated: “Kim’s plan was to invite Pete to the family’s Christmas Eve party – which took place at Kris’s amazing new mansion.”

However, the source alleged that the rapper “had other ideas” on how Kim should take a vacation.

They said Kanye was “trying to ask him to be there” and “trying to have a ‘family Christmas.'”

Additionally, the rapper allegedly believes “Pete has no place” at the Kardashians’ annual Christmas Eve party.

The informant said that Kanye was being “a bit self-satisfied”, adding: “He even called Kris and said he came to the party because it was a family occasion.”

The source concluded: “Kim doesn’t want to upset him, but she doesn’t want to spend more time with him than necessary.”

Kim and Pete, 28, first bonded romantically when the SKIMS founder hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in October.

Romance Warms Up

They confirmed their relationship by holding hands at the airport after a vacation in Palm Springs late last month.

The couple then stayed at the reality star’s mother’s house Kris .’s $12 million Palm Springs home to celebrate the comedian’s 28th birthday.

Prior to her romance with Pete, the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians member was married to Kanye from 2014-2021.

The former couple share four children: North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two.

While Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February, the rapper insisted the pair would get back together.
