Kim Jong-un’s powerful sister says North Korea will nuclearize the south if it violates “even an inch” of its territory

Kim Jong-un’s powerful sister has said North Korea will nuclear the south if it violates “an inch” of its territory.
The chilling threat of Kim Yojong comes as the mysterious country ramped up its ballistic missile tests, with nine launches so far this year.
Yo-jong is believed to be her brother’s closest confidante and has been confirmed as his chief relations officer south.
Their outburst was sparked by comments from South Korea’s defense minister, who said the country now has significantly upgraded missiles.
These now have “the ability to hit any target in North Korea accurately and quickly,” Suh Wook said.
“If the South Korean army wounded even an inch of our country, they would face a catastrophe that we never imagined before,” state media quoted Kim as saying.
“If a situation arises where South Korea decides to engage in a military confrontation with us, it will inevitably force our nuclear forces to carry out their mission.

“It’s not just a threat. This is a detailed explanation of our response to possible reckless military action by South Korea.”
Yo-jong, a senior government and ruling party official, said Suh’s comments were a “very big mistake”.
She said Pyongyang is opposed to a war that would leave the peninsula in shambles and does not see South Korea as its main enemy.
“But if South Korea for any reason – whether blinded by miscalculation or not – decides on military action like a ‘preemptive strike,’ the situation will change,” Kim added.
“In that case, South Korea itself becomes a target.”
Her latest comments come after she attacked Suh over the weekend.
“This senseless and scumbag dares to mention a ‘preemptive strike’ against a nuclear-weapon state,” she said.
“South Korea could face a serious threat over the reckless statements of its defense minister.”
North Korea has tested a number of increasingly powerful missiles this year.
Officials in Seoul and Washington fear it could be preparing to resume nuclear weapons testing for the first time since 2017 amid stalled negotiations.
But North Korea’s weapons tests haven’t all gone according to plan.
It was Kim Jong Un accused of forgery the launch of North Korea’s “biggest” nuclear missile ever after a previous test missile reportedly exploded.
The country released a propaganda clip inspired by Top Gunand claimed it had successfully tested a giant Hwasong-17 missile, which it fears can carry nuclear warheads.

The exaggerated clip showed up Kim struts in leather jacket and sunglasses in front of the colossal weapon.
But the South Korean military claims the test actually involved an older, smaller ICBM.
