Killing Eve fans all have the same complaint about season four as the latest installment fails to impress loyal viewers

In the latest installment, Jodie Comer’s assassin has abandoned Jesus and found Eve again, but Sandra Oh’s exhausted detective is more interested in tracking down the 12.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: “I’m sticking with #killingeve but it’s hard work. Eve and Villenelle almost seem superfluous to the story. I’m more interested in the 12.”

Dizzying scenes featuring a cast of new characters including Call My Agent’s Camille Cottin! as Hélène and Anjana Vasan as Pam, leaving others moaning, “I don’t really know what’s going on,” as many on Twitter said “losing interest.”

Another typed: “Previous series of #KillingEve were so good, but this is just silly”

And another viewer wrote: “This show was better when Jodie was killing and not overly analyzing.”

Season 3’s unusual ending suggested there would be less bloodshed in season 4.

Unlike the finals of seasons one and two, which ended with Villanelle and Eve stabbing and shooting each other, season three ended more solemnly and less violently.

They stood back-to-back on London Bridge in the final, trying to follow Villanelle’s suggestion of walking away from each other forever without looking back.

Meanwhile, Jodie previously confirmed that this will be the final season of Killing Eve.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed how she feels about the show’s ending, saying, “I’m honestly trying not to think about it too much.

“It’s sad, you know? I’ve been with this character for a very, very long time.”

However, she added that she is still on board with the decision to end the series after season four.

She explained, “I’d rather we end up on a good note and keep our integrity than just go on and on and get kicked out the door.”
