LAMAR Odom and Shanna Moakler, Khloe Kardashian and Travis Barker’s ex, have been officially announced as members of the cast of Celebrity Big Brother season 3.
CBS shared the official cast lineup on Wednesday.
The network took the rumor off, first announcing that Lamar and Shanna would be appearing on the show.
Prior to the announcement, the duo were not among those who had been buzzing about the possibility of appearing on the show.
This will be the first time the two stars adjacent to the Kardashian family have the opportunity to come together.
They will feature a number of other famous stars, including Teddi Mellencamp, Todd Bridges, Chris Kattan, Cynthia Bailey, Carson Kressley, Toddrick Hall and many more.
Prior to this announcement, there were rumors that Erika Jayne would be playing the lead role.
The Sun previously reported that she couldn’t due to a rule from the net.
Andy Cohen, who serves as executive producer on the series Real Housewives, also addressed the rumours.
WILL NOT HAPPEN
On an episode of SiriusXM Andy Cohen Live, he revealed that Erika Jayne would not be able to appear.
The Sun source previously said that Bravo stars are generally not allowed to appear on shows on other Networks.
While NBC owns Bravo, Celebrity Big Brother airs on CBS.
Additionally, Andy notes that Celebrity Big Brother requires the stars to live in a “closed-in” environment.
Erika worked with Bravo on the upcoming season of RHOBH.
Andy said on the radio show: “She’s filming Beverly Hills Housewives right now, people, I hate popping your bubbles.”
It seems that Shanna and Lamar’s joint appearance on the Bravo show could lead to buzz about the Kardashian family.
Lamar doesn’t shy away from talking about his ex.
The NBA player has appeared on TV One’s Uncensored, where he talks about everything from his career to his battle with addiction and past romances.
Lamar talk openly about dating Taraji P. Henson, as well as his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.
He admitted that he was at fault for how things turned out with Taraji, whom he dated before meeting and marrying Khloe.
Lamar dumped Taraji to start a relationship with Khloe after meeting her in a club.
Their romance blossomed quickly and the couple got married in a flash.
He said in the interview, “It’s all over for me and Taraji because I’m an immature punk, I don’t know how to tell her I’m in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian.”
The former Lakers star confided in the clip: “I just wish I could respect women more. Maybe I should respect them more because I don’t have a mother. For some reason – I don’t know – I just over did it.”
He recalls the beginnings of his romance with the Empire star, revealing, “I met Taraji at an HBO party. I met her, we started straight away and I remember that we were real. I’m starting to like her and I just wish I would do different things with her.
“She’s a little older than me but I’ve learned a lot from her because it’s the most important relationship, as an adult, that I have with a Black woman.
Of his relationship with Khloe, he said: “I would never give that day because of their eyes. Her eyes are shaped like the eyes of my mother, Khloe.
“I don’t even know who she is. I’m Lamar Odom. I don’t object to not having the Kardashians. But that night changed my life.”
After meeting, the couple went to the ground to run.
He said in the interview: “Every day we were together and then 30 days later we got married. I would say it was like probably the happiest time of my adult life.”
Although he is no longer a member of the Kardashian family, he has no feelings for them.
Lamar told Uncensored: “They are being driven. A bunch of young women are being driven and I wish them all the wealth and health in the world.”
