Kendrick Lamar is back.
The 34-year-old rapper is finally releasing a new album titled ‘Mr. Moral & the Big Steppers” – after five years.
The new album will be out on April 13th.
He announced the news on his Instagram with a heartfelt note that said, “Thank you for your patience.”
Back in August 2021, Lamar made fun of his new album, which he called “the final TDE album” at the time, on his website for the first time.
“May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for sincere creators. As I continue to pursue my calling,” he scribbled on the page. “There is beauty in perfection. And always believe in the unknown.” He then signed his memo “Oklama.”
The “To Pimp a Butterfly” rapper last released a full album of his tracklist in 2017, titled “Damn.”
Fans went wild on social media, showing their excitement for Lamar’s next project.
“NO F – -KING WAY NO F – -KING WAY, THIS IS NOT REAL,” one exclaimed.
“I JUST FELL ON MY FEET IN WALMART OMGG,” joked another.
Another added, “Finally the best thing ever!”
“IT’S HAPPENING,” said one. “It’s Kendrick SZN Baby!”
