Kate Moss is really “old and boring” now, says daughter Lila

These days, supermodel Kate Moss is a super slut, at least according to her daughter.

Lila Moss, 19, graced the Cover of British Vogue For the first time this month, we take a look inside the life of the fashion icon – whose daughter has said she’s “old and boring” and now prefers wearing tracksuits around the house.

The Mini Moss’ first word was reportedly ‘Nazzi’ – baby talk for ‘paparazzi’ – but the aspiring fashion star said she first realized her mother, now 48, was famous when she was 8.

At a young age, Lila, whose father is Kate’s ex and Dazed Media founder Jefferson Hack, noted that the cameras “were interested in her (mother) for some reason.”

“Then I went to secondary school and everyone was like, ‘Oh, your mother is Kate Moss!’ You don’t really have a filter when you’re so young, and I was like, ‘How do you know who she is? She sold! She’s old and boring!’” she said Vogue.

But Lila has was always She insisted that she was very close and protective of her mother. The two share similar tastes in books, TV shows – namely “Law & Order” – clothing and, now career.

“In the last three or four years, I’ve realized that her style is really cool. I have to admit it now,” Lila said, sharing that she often rummages through her mom’s closet to borrow Saint Laurent coats and Chanel 2.55 bags.

But Lila isn’t the only one venturing outside her own closet. She shared that despite the fabulous designer outfits she’s been photographed in over the years, Kate regularly steals her daughter’s tracksuits when she’s hanging around.

“She doesn’t have a good trackies selection. She only has pajamas,” revealed Lila. “She’d probably hate it if I said that. She doesn’t want anyone to know she’s wearing sweatpants.”

Moss has always been protective of her daughters and kept her own life private, but recently came up with Lila’s idea follow in their footstepsafter founding her own agency, the Kate Moss Agency, in 2017.

“My mother always rejected me [modeling]’ said Lila. “She always said, ‘If you want to do it, you can, but I wouldn’t recommend it.'”

Like most daughters, Lila ignored her mother’s advice and immersed herself in the fashion world. At 15 she shot her first campaign. In 2021 she strutted down the catwalk for the first time, opening and closing the Miu Miu show just a week after her 18th birthday.

She aspires to collaborate with famous photographer Gray Sorrenti and her favorite brand YSL, which doesn’t seem too far-fetched now.
