JOSH WARRINGTON regained his world featherweight title with a stunning TKO victory over Kiko Martinez.

The Leeds favorites started with a thunderous pace and met the defending champions with heavy shots from the first bell.

The experienced Spaniard was down in the first round after a brilliant right hand.

And while he couldn’t finish him off immediately, Warrington maintained a tremendous pace for the first three rounds before boxing cleverly down the middle.

Warrington then landed a heavy shot in the seventh and while Martinez struggled with cuts from all the punishment, Warrington upped the pace.

After firing a series of shots, the referee stepped in to end the fight and return Warrington the belt he left in January 2021.
