Johnny Depp, Amber Heard test notebook sells for $15,000, straps now on eBay for $5,000

A practicing Kentucky attorney who attended Johnny Depp’s libel trial against Amber Heard is auctioning off the bracelets that got him a front-row seat.

Larry Forman, who was not involved professionally with the case, told Insider that he personally attended the hearing between May 16 and 22 because he was “in love with the case.”

A bracelet currently listed on eBay listed a starting bid of $5,000 as of Friday afternoon.

Much of his fascination centered on the jury’s reactions to the messy couple’s claims. Forman took 60 pages of notes on the jurors’ facial expressions — a “piece of history” that he sold on eBay on Wednesday for $14,969.

“You have to see how they react to defense witnesses. Then you have to see how they react to the plaintiff’s witnesses,” he said. “Then you have to see how they react during the breaks. who are they looking at Who are they smiling at?” he added.

“As I watched the jury, I was absolutely convinced that some of them, not all — #2 and #6 and #5 were the hardest to read — would side with Johnny,” Forman said. “After seeing their reactions, I was adamant that Johnny was going to win.”

The superfan said he plans to donate all proceeds from the diary and bracelets to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital.

The Post has reached out to CHLA for comment.

The hospital was mentioned several times throughout the trial, as Heard previously said she would donate $3.5 million of her divorce settlement from Depp to the facility. However, during the trial, a hospital representative said she only donated $250,000 of the promised amount.

Amber Heard in court
Amber Heard has yet to pay in full her promised $3.5 million donation to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The remaining amount is not expected anytime soon as Heard is reportedly “broke” from high legal fees related to the defamation suit.

In an apparent dig at her, the eBay post for the bracelet includes the message: “While others have failed, lied and misled the world about their philanthropy. … Now is the time for the public to step up and donate where others have faltered in their pledges. Now is the time to become a role model in altruism.”

Bracelets like Forman’s were hot goods for fans waiting in Fairfax County Court during the Virginia trial. Each morning, court officials only gave them to the first 100 people in line. Neama Rahmani, president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, told Insider that eager viewers were lining up at midnight every night to get one.
