Joe Douglas has made quite notable changes to the Jets roster over the past year. While the record with Douglas as GM stands at 13-36, this team seems to be turning a corner. On paper, this team looks like it could at least be in the hunt for a playoff spot, which has been a pipe dream in recent years. The conversion is done correctly.

We were joined by Douglas on a special edition of the Gang’s All Here podcast with Brian Costello and I. He chats to us about their draft picks, Zach Wilson, the future of the team and more.

Joe Douglas Interview with Jake & Coz
Jets CEO

  • Draft Picks: Was like Christmas morning getting the gift you didn’t expect when they got Jermaine Johnson. The perfect scenario was that Sauce Gardner was number 4.
  • WR: Feels good where they are with wide receivers. Denzel Mims put in a lot of work during the offseason and came back with a fire.
  • ZACH WILSON: Feels good where Zach is and that he’s her type. They put pieces around him where he doesn’t have to carry the team.
  • $$$: Thanks to his fellow men for building a team in a good financial position with the Cap Space.
