JetBlue passengers seen on video asking to disembark the plane

A disturbing video, filmed aboard a JetBlue flight, captured passengers clamoring to disembark in Newark – screaming that they were terrified after several failed attempts to land at JFK Airport in inclement weather.
“I’m not going back into the air,” a passenger can be heard yelling at the officers in the cabin.
Another man is asking to disembark the plane that the airline said was due to land at JFK on Thursday after a flight from Cancun, Mexico.
“My children are panicking,” the man yells. “We have to get off this plane. It is dangerous!
“We’ve tried to land four times already… we’re afraid to fly, we want to descend! I don’t want to go to jail, but it’s not right,” he said.

“I don’t care about JFK – it’s our life! People back there are sick, people are passing out, people are throwing up! A little respect for people!” The man continues while other passengers join in, wanting to get off.
JetBlue spokesman Derek Dombrowski told The Post that Flight 1852 was diverted via JFK to Newark Liberty International Airport “due to the weather”.
“Without proper customs clearance for the flight in Newark, the plane grounded for 60 minutes and, once the weather cleared, flew back to JFK where it landed safely,” he said in an email.

“We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this weather-related diversion,” Dombrowski added.
The airline reportedly offered passengers $50 flight credit for the inconvenience.
