Japan earthquake: A 7.3 magnitude tremor hits the coast of Fukushima, triggering a tsunami warning

TOKYO — A powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck the coast of Fukushima in northern Japan on Wednesday night, triggering a tsunami warning.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said the quake struck 60 kilometers (36 miles) under the sea.
The region is part of northern Japan, which was devastated by a deadly 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that also caused a nuclear disaster.
There are no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
