Jake Paul was the third-highest-earning boxer last year

Jake Paul was officially the third-highest-earning boxer for 2021-22, with the YouTuber making the top 100 earning athletes list all year.

Jake Paul has long been a divisive figure online alongside older brother Logan, but they’ve put in some serious work since entering the martial arts world.

While Logan has embarked on various other ventures, including launching his own drinking beverage with KSI and creating the 99 Originals NFT collection, Jake has gone all-in on boxing – and it’s clearly paying off.

Competing against some of the most relevant and wealthy athletes, Jake is clearly making his mark on the space.

Jake has confirmed that he will be back in the ring in August.

Sportico published their list the 100 highest earning athletes over the last 12 months in May 2022, including LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Tiger Woods and more of the most famous athletes in the world.

Only three boxers made the top 100, including Paul. This is what the box list looked like:

  1. Canelo Alvarez – $89 million
  2. Tyson Fury – $69 million
  3. Jake Paul – $36 million

Paul finds himself behind only Canelo and Tyson Fury.

The figure sees him as the 45th-highest earner in the last year, level with the New York Yankees’ Gerrit Cole, just behind golfer Phil Mickelson and ahead of the likes of Stefon Diggs, Devin Booker, Mo Salah and others.

Whether next year will prove fruitful remains a big question, but with rumors swirling about Jake battling big names like Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez, it’s fair to say his bank account will look healthy for some time to come.
