I’ve picked four possible baby names for my daughter but people say they ALL sound like a stripper

BABY names can be hard to choose, especially when you want something different.
With endless options, one may have to determine if the names you like work in the real world.
An expectant mother accepted mom net to get help deciding what to name her daughter.
She didn’t get the reaction she expected when she named the top four names, people couldn’t believe she actually considered some of them.
“I want something different from the top 20 names if possible,” the mom-to-be said.

The user took it to a whole new level when she revealed the names she had in mind.
Venus, Story, Ember and Apricot topped the list of the new mom’s top picks.
She shared that her daughter’s middle name would be independent of Jean’s first name, so the first name had to match the classic name.
Other parents couldn’t believe she was really thinking about the unique names: “That’s a joke, isn’t it?” one user commented in disbelief.
Although the user wanted something different, she didn’t expect such a strong backlash from her choices.
The fruit-inspired name, Apricot, was least popular with fellow users.

One said: “I know someone who was named after a fruit and the mockery in secondary school was unrelenting. Why would you give your child a name that encourages bullying?”
Another added: “Story and Apricot talk about your pregnancy hormones. These are not names.”
Ember was the best of a bad bunch to the amazed readers, but they still thought the name was better for a stripper than a kid.
History and Venus were also big nos, a concerned mother said: “Venus is a lot to live up to!”
While another joked: “What happened when you name your kid as normal as Emily or Bethan?”
