The attacks in DC occurred on March 3rd, March 8th and March 9th. The third attack was fatal as the victim was found with gunshot and stab wounds in a burning tent.

The NYPD, DC Metropolitan Police and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol,nt Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting the investigation.h

DC Police have confirmed they are investigating the theory that the Attacks could be related.

Teams of officers and outreach workers have warned homeless people to seek shelter, according to the Newark Police Department.

NYC ATTACKS

The latest attack occurred around 7 p.m. Sunday on Greenwich Street and Mary Street in NYC. A man was sleeping in a bag on the street when he was fatally shot.

Police believe the suspect in the attack could also be responsible for Saturday’s shootings, one of which was also deadly.

Both victims were shot in Manhattan.

The suspect appeared to deliberately approach and shoot the first two men, police said. The suspect was seen clothed all black and a black ski mask.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers. There is a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

New York Mayor Eric Adams called the attacks “terrible”.

“We need to find that person, and we need New Yorkers to help us,” he said.

A task force of officials and a homeless team is focused on finding homeless people on the subways to urge them to go to city shelters, Adams said.

Adams has also conducted an aggressive campaign to rid the subways of the homeless amid a crime surge.

In the first week, 143 people were arrested and 455 people were removed from trains and stations on the city’s subways.
