Faith Ordway finds her career on TikTok

Though Faith is one of the video-based app’s biggest figures today, her initial ambitions as a content creator weren’t so glorious. Coincidentally, she had no intention of creating a TikTok account, let alone taking it seriously, if it weren’t for the advice of close friends.

“I never really used it but I was always with my friends who were always posting funny videos and they told me to get one. So I joined [TikTok] towards the end of my senior year of high school, why not.”

“I didn’t really look at TikTok as a place to ‘grow’. Actually, I literally had zero views when I started. But once I started taking the initiative, posting and doing nature exploration, savings videos, dancing, a topic, I started to grow where I’m now sitting at 4 million followers. Still, it’s so crazy to me.”

With this newfound popularity, the twenty-year-old TikToker’s fame has given her a moment of growth – a moment to explore the facets of her passion.

With her actions reinforced by her content creation art, Faith made sure to get off the app and into a newfound sanctuary for her mental and physical health: the boxing ring.

When asked about her relationship with boxing, the content creator began to overflow with joyful emotions. She explained that as she saw the mental and physical benefits, her desire to enter the realm of boxing intensified.

“So I was introduced to boxing by my ex-boyfriend. I saw that he was boxing and had gotten into insanely good shape. Seems good overall so I felt like I could do it!”

“From the moment I walked into the gym and started working out, I immediately realized that I could eat whatever I wanted. Not only that, I’m in a better place mentally as I add more substance to my career. From the beginning through my career, my content has been based on my physical appearance. Adding that substance to the training, working towards something and showing that I have a passion for boxing proves that I am more than a pretty face, I am a force.”

“My goal is to get a few games in the coming months to a year. Boxing is so liberating for me; It allows me to stay active and relieve the usual stresses I get from life, so I want to push it as much as possible to maintain that mental edge. I’ve gotten pretty good for someone doing TikTok, so I feel like I’m going in the right direction.”

Faith describes the new app as a way to build a bridge between her world and that of her fans.

“Personally, I love the idea because ‘Squads’ is a way to get closer to your fans and give them access to content they wouldn’t otherwise have. “I don’t really get involved in projects that I personally don’t believe in. I haven’t seen an app that does the same job as this one and if there are other apps out there ‘Squads’ does a better job than It really keeps you connected to your supporters. So stay tuned for this new app. I’m proud of what we have!”
