BRANDON VAZQUEZ inspired Cincinnati to a 3-1 win over Inter Miami with two goals and an assist at TQL Stadium on Saturday.
And it all started when Ronald Matarrita took a Vazquez cross and hit the net in the 18th minute to open the scoring for Cincinnati.
Vazquez then doubled the hosts’ lead in the 24th minute with a header from Matarrita.
Gonzalo Higuain got the visitors back on with a penalty after half an hour after Matarrita beat DeAndre Yedlin in the penalty area.
Vazquez drew a penalty in the 78th minute, but Luciano Acosta’s shot hit the left post.
However, Vazquez ended the win with a crucial finisher after 82 minutes.
Miami are yet to claim a win this season, having lost three of their first four games.
Neville said: “In any walk of life, in my experience, the only way to get out of situations like this is to work even harder – run more, play more football.
“We’re a young team and I don’t want to use that as an excuse, but this young team needs to adapt to each other.
“The confidence has to come back because we have to start scoring points and winning football games – and the only way we get confidence is by winning football games.”
