BOREHAM WOOD secured their spot in the FA Cup 4th Round with a 2-0 win over League One’s AFC Wimbledon.
Tyrone Marsh and substitute Adrian Clifton scored goals for the non-league team to win.
Coach Luke Garrard happened to be playing for Wimbledon, making the victory even sweeter.
And the celebrations inside the dressing room were followed by WILD.
The players and staff sang Wheatus’ Teenage Dirtbag while spraying water and what looked like champagne over each other.
Manager Gerrard said on victory: “I’m on top of the world.
“I’m going to enjoy tonight and so will the players, but I don’t even know when the draw for the fourth round will be.
“I’m really proud of them today. I know it’s a cliché but all I’m thinking about is playing Wealdstone on Tuesday.”
Dons boss Mark Robinson is far from satisfied with his youthfulness.
Robinson says some of his players have ‘come out on the pitch and do their own thing’, something he will have to pull them up.
Regarding the goal, Robinson said: “The last thing we need is to concede a goal early.
“They’re really well organized and we don’t have enough skill or technique to make enough, which is disappointing.
“A few players have gone and done their own thing, which can happen when you’re young and I need to talk to them.
“On the contrary, they have experienced players, so they know what they’re doing.”
