Indie-pop singer Rex Orange County’s sold-out concert has long lines in north Houston

The Who Cares Tour is an open air event on the Pulse Power Stage on the White Oak lawn. People in the neighborhood said that the area always gets crowded when a good singer comes to town.
ABC13 also spoke to people who said the drive to the north side and the long lines are worth seeing this show.
“This is Rex Orange County. He’s a really popular artist. I actually drove from San Antonio just to make it here,” said concert-goer Giovanni Renturia.
“I’ve heard a couple of his songs. My girlfriend is a huge fan so I’m here for her,” said Zarion Jones.
“He actually got me through the quarantine. That’s when I really discovered him. That’s why I have so much support for him,” said Jones’ girlfriend Norca Morrison.
The next stop on Rex Orange Country’s Who Cares Tour will be in Austin on Friday.
