A bride-to-be has opened up about her devastation after her fiancé asked if they could photoshop her facial scars from her wedding photos because he wants them to be “flawless”.

The anonymous woman, who is 32 and is from the United States, gained weight Reddit and explained how her fiancé Aaron, 34, accused her of being an “overreactor” and “too sensitive” when she refused.

While the disgruntled wife initially thought he was joking, Aaron told her, “That’s what Photoshopping is for, and these are wedding photos that last for years and he wants them to be flawless.”

The upset woman continued: “I looked at him and asked if he saw my face as a blemish, he immediately apologized and said absolutely not, it’s just that all couples are pointing out what should be photoshopped and what not to get the best wedding photos. “

The hurt bride-to-be explained that she had fallen out with her future mother-in-law – adding that the majority of women in his family are on his side.

She concluded the post by noting that she wasn’t sure if it was her past insecurities that surfaced and that she was just offended for no reason.

However, many users of the social forum quickly went to the comments section to defend them.
