I’m Celebrity Payments: How Much Are My Celebrity Contestants Paid This Year?

I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! is back for a brand new series with a bunch of new contestants.
The ITV series is taking place in Wales, as opposed to Australia, for its second year running due to the pandemic
The yearbook started last week with a bumper episode featuring the broadcaster Richard Madeley and Saturday singer Frankie’s Bridge led two teams in the first Bushtucker Test. Madeley has since been forced out of the series after he was taken to the hospital as a “precautionary measure” due to poor health.
While many viewers often expressed sympathy for the contestants as they took on these tough challenges, it’s worth remembering that they were paid handsomely to be on the show.
So how much does each celebrity earn for their appearance in the reality series? The full amount has yet to be officially announced, but this year’s highest-paid star seems to be Good morning England Madeley co-host.
According to the report, Madeley will bring in £200,000 for her appearance, less than last year’s two contestants: Mo Farah (£300,000) and Vernon Kay (£250,000).
This corroborates claims that manufacturers are spending less on talent than in previous years, perhaps due to pandemic-related cuts.
In 2019, Caitlyn Jenner made £500,000 for her appearances, while winner Harry Redknapp brought in the same amount in 2018.
That same year, Noel Edmonds is said to have received £600,000 for his brief stint in 2018, making him the highest-paid celebrity ever joined.

From the previous year’s payments, it can be inferred that Emmerdale star Danny Miller will receive around £75,000 for his appearance.

Meanwhile, Olympic diver Matty Lee and Paralympian Kadeena Cox, MBE’s salary is expected to be around £50,000.
In previous years, retired footballer and pundit David Ginola may have earned more than he could have made this year taking into account cuts suspected to be related to the pandemic. . In 2019, Ian Wright raked in £400,000 for his appearances.
Same goes for Bridge. In 2019, Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle earned £250,000, meaning Bridge’s salary is unlikely to be too far behind Madeley’s.
