I’m being trolled after I fix up my meetinghouse

A WOMAN has fought back a troll who accused her of spending the money she was supposed to use to pay her bills at Home Bargains.

Leeanne has invested time and money remodeling her community center and has shared the process on her TikTok page.

However, this means she also exposes herself to comments from trolls – one of whom hit back recently Video which showed a quick look at a shopping bag from the popular discounter Home Bargains.

“Shouldn’t you save if you live in a council house?” read the comment.

“I really wonder how you can afford that but can’t afford to pay bills like everyone else.”

“Can anyone help with this comment? I’m confused,” Leeanne wrote.

She then added in the comments section: “This video hit the local papers – I never said my rent is huge, I work 32 hours, I don’t complain about having a community center.

“No I don’t want to give up my house, I understand private is more. Give me a break man.”

Other people commenting on the video insisted others were confused between people living in a community center and those receiving benefits.

“I think they’re confusing welfare payments with public housing…” wrote one.

While another added, “Can people stop this narrative that no one is allowed to do or buy anything if they are considered ‘poor’ and it’s literally house bargains OMG.”

“If only it was Gucci or something, eh,” Leeanne replied.

“Why do people assume community real estate is dirt cheap?” someone else commented.

“I pay £700 a month rent for my 2 bed and ALL my bills on top of that because I work.”

“You must have missed the no bill but when signing for your house too???” answered Leeanne.

“We have to reread our contracts.”

In another comment, Leeanne wrote: “Everybody be nice. You only see 30-60 seconds of my videos a day.

“You don’t understand my situation, we live on our wages month after month.

“And some months have no extra money. We have a roof over our children’s heads, that’s all that matters.”
