TIKTOKER is sharing her tips on how to make all your clothes fit into your wardrobe.
Leah Mari, a lifestyle content creator, often posts videos with packing tips and tricks to reduce space occupied by unnecessary items.
In this video, Now with nearly 30,000 views, Leah shares “folding tricks” to help people fold their clothes in the smallest of spaces.
“These are the details that help your clothes fit into your space,” says Leah as she stacks her things in the sorting bin.
Her first trick was how to fold denim shorts.
“You have to open the top knot and fold it in thirds to distribute the material evenly,” says Leah.
Then fold the shorts in half to take up the height of the drawer, thus using less space.
Next is folding the sweater. Leah doesn’t recommend sweating it out because doing so can stretch and damage your shoulders.
She says it’s easier to fold them and instead says she has a lot of videos on her account so people can practice.
For the third hack, Leah says that some clothes are better to fold while others are better to hang.
Jeans, sweatpants, sweat suits, shorter skirts and cotton basics are the best pieces to fold rather than hang, she says.
Finally, Leah suggests that people “fold files” in their drawers. Like when folding clothes in such a way that they look like a drawer full of files.
“It’s a game changer to see what you get.”
The comments were full of users thanking Leah for her tips while others questioned how to stay organized.
One user wrote: “My problem is that when I pull the sweaters out they are all messy and I feel like I’m constantly berating them or they’re wrinkled.”
Leah commented: “I shared a video on how to pull a sweater without messing things up on 6-30-2021. Hope this is useful!”
