Apex Legends star Timmy ‘iiTzTimmy’ An has already racked up 50,000 subscribers on Twitch just weeks after launching a “year-old” subathon.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year or so, you’ve most likely stumbled upon a subathon being held on Twitch, with streamers both big and small jumping on the trend.
Each new subscription forces the streamer to broadcast for an additional amount of time, with some streaming days and even weeks on end thanks to the generosity of their viewers.
To celebrate his 22nd birthday, Apex Legends wizard iiTzTimmy started a subathon with a “year-old” cap, and he’s already had some pretty decent success with it.
The Apex Legends standout launched his subathon back on April 19th and has already managed to climb the ranks of Twitch’s most subsumed channels.
As a matter of fact, Timmy currently ranks sixth overall with nearly 55,000 subscribers. That puts him behind xQc, NICKMERCS and Casimito – with the latter currently dominating Twitch with over 125,000 subscribers from their own.
While Apex is usually his game of choice, Timmy experimented a lot in the first few weeks of his subathon, delving into Valorant, various VR games, and even Bloodhunt. He’s also spent a lot of time in the “Just Chat” and “Sleep” categories, which is always a feature of Subathons.

Despite thousands of attempts, no subathon has ever broken Ludwig “Ludwig” Ahgren’s record of 283,000 subscribers.
If he sticks to his “one-year” cap, Timmy is certain to break EmilyCC’s record for longest subathon, which currently stands at 178 days. However, we’ll just have to wait and see how things develop over the next few weeks.
