The viral clip has garnered about two million views on TikTok, but many users doubt the new vests would solve the alleged shoplifting problem.

Alexis tells the daily point that she wasn’t entirely sure why the company might be releasing new uniforms, saying she thought “it would be fun for TikTok.”

“I was just trying to be funny for Tik Tok lol,” she told the outlet, adding that they were never specifically told shoplifting was the reason for the switch.

However, she claims there are multiple theories as to why the company may have changed its employee uniform.

“The new design is because people don’t follow the dress code, I heard,” she said.
