“Why do you always bring an odd number of cookies to tables with an even number of guests?” a user asked.

The waiter said it was Red Lobster’s policy to “bring one cookie for each person at the table.”

“Add an additional cookie to the table,” they added. “Company policy.”

The server is said to be operating in an unspecified branch of Red Lobster.

They shared a photo of their apron and server book to prove that they work there.

The employee also revealed the best thing to order on the menu, where the seafood comes from, details about the take-home cookie policy and if there are any secret dishes on the menu.

“Not that I know of,” they say of the meals you can secretly order from the menu.

“However, as far as I know, you can order items that we’ve had on our menu before but have been removed as long as those ingredients haven’t been removed from our menu.”

“The official take-home cookie policy is that you can pay four dollars for half a dozen cookies,” they added.

“Cookies are offered for free on Red Lobster, but there is a fee to take home.”

The waiter said the shrimp in the restaurant are “aquaculture and sourced from different farms.”

“We serve both Maine Lobster and Rocktail,” they added.

“However, the only live lobster my store has is Maine [lobster]. We received a shipment of tail stones. “

‘BEST MENU SELECTION’

The server listed “great options” off the menu for customers visiting for the first time.

“If you go, get the Tenderloin and Shrimp or the New Orleans Salmon.”

They added that they had “nothing too crazy” going on when dealing with customers.

However, some people have told them it is “so sad” to have live lobsters in tanks in the chain’s restaurants.

Back in May 2020, a “one in 30 million” calico lobster has been rescued from a pot of boiling Red Lobster owned by an eagle-eyed employee who discovered the rare shell.

An employee at the seafood giant’s Manassas location in Virginia saved “Freckles” from death’s claws after his bright yellow spots caught their blue eyes.

Red Lobster revealed that Freckles is now living at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport after they enlisted the help of an Ohio-based zoo.

UNLIMITED SHRIMP

In October, Red Lobster launched unlimited shrimp for a limited time.

Usually, the deal is only available on Mondays – but Red Lobster tested something new to see how customers react.

The endless shrimp promotion includes four products: Grilled Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp, Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, and Walt’s Favorite Shrimp.

According to Red Lobster’s promotionCustomers can mix and match those shrimps with a side selection for $17.99.

While Red Lobster didn’t specify when the deal would end, in its statement it did say it would only be available for a limited time.
