I was sent by the murderous Chippendales boss to inject two strippers during the Blackpool show CYANIDE

A HITMAN has spoken out about being ordered to inject two dancers with cyanide during a male strip show in Blackpool.
The assassin, nicknamed “Strawberry,” was offered $50,000 – around £38,000 – to stick needles into leaders of the Adonis strip troupe while they cavorted during a wild women show.
‘Just plug it in’
Strawberry traveled from Los Angeles with the poison to carry out the hit job on orders from Steve Banerjee – the multi-millionaire and founder of the Chippendales.
The ruthless Banerjee felt that rival Adonis, formed by his ex-collaborators Read Scot and Steve White, “went a step too far” as competition.
For the first time, Strawberry reveals how he changed his mind minutes before the attack – and instead dumped it all on the FBI.
Strawberry explained how Banerjee’s fixer Ray Colon handed him cyanide and shots and told him, “Just stay there [the bottle]suck some of it out, hold it in your hand and when you’re in the crowd just do it [inject]just walk away and they are dead.”
Middleman Ray Colon challenged his friend, “Man, you have to do this. There’s a lot of money in that.”
$25,000 per kill
The exclusive look is part of A&E Network’s upcoming documentary, Secrets of the Chippendales Murders.
Strawberry explained how he was afraid to turn down the Blackpool murder proposal.
He said, “If I hadn’t accepted Ray’s offer, I might have ended up in the flower bed at his house because then you become a liability.”
Without “asking any questions,” construction worker Strawberry retrieved the cyanide from Colon’s garage and agreed to a $25,000-per-kill deal.
Strawberry said he “wasn’t nervous about taking cyanide on the plane because it was in my luggage.
“I threw away the cyanide”
“And 30 years ago you could have had 10 guns in there and they didn’t seem like they gave a shit,” he added.
Recalling his trip to northern England, Strawberry said he was more worried about how cold it was and “I only had short-sleeved shirts, no coat. And the food sucked and the girls didn’t fare any better.”
However, as the night of death neared Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, he saw reason: “I was afraid of being arrested. I thought that’s not worth a damn. I’m getting out of here
“So I threw away the cyanide and the syringes.
“I thought about going to the English police but I thought they would throw my ass in jail or a madhouse.
“So I thought I have to go back to the States where they speak the real English that I speak.”
Hitman became an informant
Strawberry flew to Vegas to tell his story to the FBI, fearing Colon would kill him when he returned home in July 1991.
Agents then corroborated Strawberry’s claims in a wiretapped call with Colon.
Colon confirmed his orders during the call: “Yes, it will work,” and even urged Strawberry to go further: “You could even put a little Draino (bleach) in there if you like.”
An FBI raid on Colon’s garage found enough cyanide to kill 2,500 people — which it claimed was Gophers.
plea
When Colon first “told the government to suck my cock, he realized he was going to serve 30 years in prison, so he agreed to a plea bargain explaining the real mastermind behind the murder.
Colon confessed that four years earlier Banerjee had ordered the Adonis hits and also the murder of Nick De Noia, his own business partner and co-creator of Chippendales.
De Noia was killed by a hitman hired by Banerjee in his New York office in 1987.
Colon’s confessions led to the FBI reopening the NYPD’s unsolved murder case.
Banerjee, who was struggling with cocaine addiction, felt above the law after evading justice for De Noia’s death and urged Colon to murder Adonis.
“I need something to take care of”
Banerjee told Colon: “England didn’t allow guns… inject them with cyanide. Just a little cyanide will kill you.”
The new series features a previously unreleased video of Colon explaining how “close friend and confidante” Bannerjee ordered the hit by saying, “I have something to take care of.”
Banerjee gave Colon $500 for the gun before he and a drug-addict hitman named Louie flew to New York for the murder.
Banerjee killed himself in his LA jail cell.
A&E Network’s four-part documentary event Secrets of the Chippendales Murders begins March 14 at 10pm ET/PT in the US.
