A PARTICIPANT at Tipping Point opened up about the show’s secrets — plus a genius wardrobe hack.
Di appeared on the hugely popular ITV game show four years ago and has recently shared it all on her blog.
Incredibly, Di was shocked, much to her dismay, to discover that contestants had to bring tons of clothing items.
On her blog, she wrote, “One of the biggest challenges with a game show is that you have to wear a lot of outfits, especially when there are multiple contestants on the same set.
“We had to take five tops and two bottoms – no white, no pastels, no black, no small patterns.
“I stopped by GAP and bought three different colors of the same top – and wasn’t allowed to wear any of them.”
Since the pressure of studio lighting is likely to overwhelm any cool gamer, Di also offered some key advice for future gamers on the show.
“We were told to come into the studio with regular makeup on and they add a bit more to make it look good under the studio lights.
“Nervous? They even have little absorbent underarm pads to prevent sweat stains.”
Of Ben Shephard, the show’s host, Di said he was “funny and made everyone feel comfortable” and was “pretty quick” through the rounds.
“If you lose, you sit there and watch the rest of the show from the studio side,” she concluded.
“I had to laugh when I was asked to re-record my wrong answer and Ben said to me afterwards, ‘That was great Di, just perfect’.
“Um, besides being one of the dumbest answers you think Ben?
