Using stick-on vinyl in various patterns, poster board, a hobby knife and a wallpaper smoother, Deima transformed her entire kitchen.

Deima said: “For $21.92 (£16.11) I had a brand new kitchen.

“The way it looked before and the way it looks now is completely different, I’m obsessed.”

Going into her kitchen with a black and white theme, she added that her method is especially good if you’re renting as it can be easily removed.

First, Deima used a vinyl decal she got from Walmart for ($5.48) £4.20, she chose one with a black and gray pattern to use as a splashback.

She cut off the edges with a hobby knife and used a wallpaper smoother to attach them to the wall without creating any air bubbles.

Deima used a stunning black marble effect vinyl for the countertop, which she also bought at Walmart for ($5.48) £4.20.

She shared her top tip for placing vinyl paper without wrinkles.

She explained that instead of removing it all, she folds a small amount of the backing paper and goes with the smoothing tool as she removes it to make sure there aren’t any air bubbles.

Deima then used plain white vinyl for her kitchen cabinet doors and began removing the doors.

She covered the frames of the cabinets with the same vinyl and trimmed off excess paper with a hobby knife.

Since her doors have an indented design, Deima took a piece of poster board and glued it onto it to give the doors a smooth surface that she can easily cover.

Then she attaches the doors and is done with the kitchen transformation.

Viewers were seriously impressed with the DIY project, with one writing: “So this is by far the BEST truly affordable rental friendly kitchen remodel I’ve seen.”
