A TAKEAWAY customer found chicken FEET in her food.

The man said he felt sick and was removed from the poultry completely after finding the crushed foot fresh out of the fryer.

And he claims East Eat employees in Colwyn Bay, Conwy, laughed and hung up when he complained about his can of salt and pepper shredded chicken.

I said North Wales Live: “I didn’t cook at first. I pulled out the first piece of chicken and picked it up a little bit.

“I looked at the meal and noticed the piece of cake had an odd shape, leaving me unable to believe what I had in my mouth.

“Seeing what I’m holding in my hand really makes me unable to eat anything. I feel sick.”

He said he searched for parts of the chicken to tell himself what it was and what wasn’t, adding that he couldn’t finish his meal once he knew it.

The food hygiene rating for takeout is said to have been delayed due to the pandemic.

Chicken feet are often considered waste in the UK but are a popular dish in countries such as Mexico, South Africa and Asia.

They are also praised for health benefits such as their high collagen content.
