A savvy DIYer decided to remodel her kitchen, only to realize she hated her first choice and ripped everything out to try a different color – TWICE.
The YouTuber initially put a wood-style vinyl over her countertops, only to find she didn’t like them and replaced them with a white wood alternative.
She then decided that the white would go better with pink walls, but again, she didn’t like the light color and had to completely redesign both the walls and countertop to make it perfect.
She explained that a friend advised her to cover the entire countertop before deciding what would maximize the amount of work on the project.
She used a thin ruler, blade, scraper, DCfix vinyl and scissors to attach the cover to her countertops.

After installing the new vinyl, she initially thought she really liked it – but changed her mind and pulled it up to put white wood vinyl instead.
The woman who posts with the handle My organized bubblesaid: “I hated it. It looked like a DIY kitchen, I know it’s DIY, but that’s not what we’re aiming for.
“It looked cheesy, it looked awful. It looked awful.”
She decided to change the whole scheme back to a gray countertop and wanted to make it less boring, so I decided to paint the walls pink.
It wasn’t to her liking either, as she explained that the result made her kitchen “look like a playroom.”
After repainting the walls a much lighter, more delicate peach color, she was finally happy with the result.
The handyman said: “Long story short – it’s complete and I really like it. Now I understand why people paint their houses white and stick to neutral colors because color is very, very difficult.”
