LEEDS UNITED star Luke Ayling has revealed he has been trying to emulate Robbie Keane’s famous celebration after scoring a late winner at Wolves.
the previous Tottenham and Ireland’s trademark was cartwheeling, doing a forward roll and firing at the crowd with his finger pistols.
But Ayling failed at the first step, his chaotic wheel almost beating to an injury.
The cheering of the celebrations matched the scenes in the away gallery and exemplified the entire game – what with a red card and eight minutes of stoppage time in both halves.
After scoring a rare goal, an elated Ayling tried to explain his celebration.
He said Sky Sports: “I tried to do the Robbie Keane but I couldn’t land the wheel which is a bit disappointing – I need to work on that.”
Ayling, who wore the captain’s armband in place of the absent Kalvin Phillips, almost scored Leeds’ first goal.
The right-back ran behind the wolf chain, brought the ball down brilliantly and rammed the post with a low shot.
He followed the ball up and his rebound attempt was cleared off the line by Conor Coady before Jack Harrison finally threw in.
But he later scored and proved the hero as Leeds moved seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Leeds need goals from all areas of their squad if they are to stay on the pitch after yet another injury to Patrick Bamford.
The striker had just returned from a long injury lay-off and was at it tears after being deposed after 20 minutes.
