I can stop my baby from crying in just 18 seconds with ‘forward hug’

Breastfeeding is a lot of work.
They cry, they stay up all night, they throw on the rug – and many new parents don’t know how to deal with these antics.
A man using @TuqueDaddy on TikTok has gained a following on social media thanks to his fatherhood-related videos.
Recently, he stated that he knows how to take his baby stop crying for a few seconds—And viewers were amazed by how well this trick worked.
In the clip, his young child sobs in his arms as the countdown begins.
Step one, he says, involves taking both of the child’s arms and crossing them in front of each other and around the chest — what fathers call “self-hugging.”
Step two is to hold the baby’s arms with one hand and hold the baby between the legs with the other hand. Then lean the young person forward.
He positioned the child so that it was in a swaddle, lying on its side in the father’s arms.
Step three is gently rocking the baby while in this position, he says.
As the Tuque Daddy gently rocked the baby back and forth, the baby’s crying began to calm down.
When the countdown came to an end, the baby was completely quiet and calm.
Viewers couldn’t believe what they witnessed:
“I WILL NEED THESE TICTOKS FOR 10 YEARS. STAY!!!” one begged.
“The brother forgot why he got mad,” joked another.
A third person said the technique has been approved by the doctor: “Ah, I see you have found the ‘stopper’. I watched a video of a doctor doing this a few years ago… he soothed every child, all the time. ”
