CHOOSING a home is one of the biggest decisions anyone has to make.
After all, there are many different factors to consider – and it doesn’t come cheap.
But one brave woman living in the UK decided to put all her worries aside.
Instead, she took the bold step of buying a house at auction – and won after just seeing a floor plan and a few photos.
Accept Tick tockthe homeowner, Alicja, shared a clip from her first visit to her home.
The house, with boarded-up windows and stripped of all decoration, appears to be in dire need of some TLC – something Alicja will be working on over the coming months.
Not surprisingly, many of her social media followers had a lot to say on the subject.
“This is 100% murder horror house,” wrote one.
A second commented: “Let the spook begin,” while a third added: “Immediate bad vibes. Something bad happened there.”
Meanwhile, others remained a little more optimistic, assuring Alicja that they see potential in the property.

“This house has a lot of potential,” enthused one.
A second, wanting to learn more about the unusual home buying process, asked: “How did you buy at auction – can you teach me please?”
In response, Alicja commented: “Just find a house you like and follow the steps online. I don’t speak English well and I did.”
Another asked if she plans to live there or just renovate and sell it, to which Alicja wrote, “I’m planning on moving there but who knows?”
Elsewhere, another social media user asked, “Why does it have wood on the windows and doors… always wondered?”
The new homeowner explained that this is because the house was left empty, so all locks were removed from the doors and doors and windows were boarded over.
And from experience, another wrote: “With this type of purchase bug bomb the whole house and use more than recommended.
Alicja replied: “The house is not damaged. It’s just very dirty.”
