I asked for a cute marble effect on my nails

Doing your nails is meant to be a self-care routine, but it can be stressful for some.
Social media user Emii Ervine recently left her final date with a design so horrible it looked like she had toes on her hands.
In a social medium clipErvine explained she went to a nail appointment hoping to get a marble design ready.
But even though she showed a picture of what she was hoping to get, it didn’t seem to make any difference.
She revealed the end result, showing only four nails painted baby blue and her index finger bare.
Aside from not doing a marbled effect, the nail artist seemed to have applied a really thick coat of acrylic as well.
Her nails were also square which made it look like her hands were toenails.
After she posted the shaming video, people were quick to suggest what she could do the next time she wanted a specific design.
One user explained, “I started going to nail salons or places with nail artists when I wanted designs.
“You can’t go to a regular store. They only know how to apply gel paint and do a French manicure.”
A second shared: “I would have cried getting in my car. I wouldn’t have said anything because I don’t know how to speak for myself.
“I would have gone to another salon and paid.”
“Oh my god I thought the color was just crazy but my god this can’t be real,” said a third.
And it turns out Ervine isn’t the only one who walked out with a terrible manicure.
Another enthusiast decided to try a new nail salon and showed how discouraged she was when she walked out with “leprechaun hands.”
She explained: “So today I got my nails done at a nail salon that I don’t usually go to.
“I [asked for] fill it out and the guy absolutely didn’t understand what I meant.
“I wanted acrylic and ended up getting dip powder – I don’t even use dip powder.”
