Huma Abedin rents out post-divorce house amid romance with Bradley Cooper

Could Huma Abedin already be moving in with her new boyfriend Bradley Cooper?

In June, 45-year-old Abedin put her East Hampton apartment up for rent for $35,000 a month — just a few months after she started dating Cooper, The Post can report.

Former Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff and ex-wife of disgraced New York politician Anthony Weiner bought the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home in November 2020 for $1.15 million amid her ongoing divorce proceedings, records show.

Amenities at the nearly 3,000 square foot colonial-style home include a heated pool, outdoor shower, and expansive decking area.

Located in the Springs neighborhood, the hotel features newly renovated bathrooms and an expansive dining room for entertaining.

Built in 1992, the living room has a fireplace and the kitchen has restained cherry wood cabinets, new Caesarstone countertops, and new stainless steel appliances, according to the listing.

The master suite features a recently renovated bathroom with a marble topped double vanity, marble tile floor and a frameless glass-enclosed shower with bench seat.

When it first went on sale for rent on June 3, Abedin was asking $27,500 a month. But in early July, the price rose to $35,000.

As reported by Page Six, Abedin and Cooper, 47, have been secretly dating for a few months, with sources revealing that Vogue editor Anna Wintour was the one playing “matchmaker.”

“She’s Bradley’s best friend and loves Huma,” a source said.

It’s unclear where Abedin will be spending most of his time once the Hamptons’ home is rented. Records show that she still holds on to her marital home, which she shared with Weiner. The two bought the three-bedroom, two-bathroom Flatiron home in 2014 for $2.52 million, shortly after Weiner’s sexting scandal was exposed.

It was briefly offered for rent in 2017 when Abedin filed for divorce. Their divorce was finalized earlier this year.

Meanwhile, The Post previously reported that Abedin rented a unit at 510 E. 14th St. in 2019, where Weiner shortly after moved across the hall in a separate unit to co-parent their 9-year-old son. Abedin is also associated with a rental on the Upper East Side. Meanwhile, Cooper, who shares a 5-year-old daughter with supermodel Irina Shayk, spent $13.5 million on a West Village townhouse in 2018.

Abedin has long been the subject of news due to her past with Weiner. The latter was convicted in 2017 on a charge of transmitting obscene material to a minor and ended up spending 18 months at the Federal Medical Center in Devens, Massachusetts.

Page Six is told the high-profile couple arrived at the Met Gala together on May 2, 2022, and then split for the red carpet. Pictures show Abedin, 46, in a canary yellow dress, posing for the cameras while Cooper, 47, keeps a distance behind her.

Abedin made the decision to initially stay with her husband after he was caught sending a sexually explicit photo of himself to another woman via his public Twitter account in 2011.

A second sexting scandal erupted in 2013, shortly after Weiner attempted a political comeback and began running for mayor of New York City. Weiner sent explicit photos under the pseudonym “Carlos Danger” to a then 22-year-old woman in April 2013, just over a year after resigning from Congress.

Abedin made the decision to divorce Weiner after it was revealed he had sexed another woman, including sending a picture while he was in bed with his young son.

“After much and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband,” Abedin said in a statement. “Anthony and I remain committed to doing what is best for our son who is the light of our lives. In this difficult time I ask for respect for our privacy.”

In 2016, Weiner was caught having sex with a 15-year-old North Carolina girl, and devices belonging to Weiner were seized as part of an investigation into the incident. His total sentence was 21 months in prison for passing obscene material to a minor, 18 months at a Massachusetts medical center and the rest in a transitional home.

The criminal investigation into Weiner’s activities led to emails discovered on his laptop from Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state. This prompted former FBI Director James Comey to reopen this investigation just 11 days before the 2016 US presidential election.

Clinton has stated that Comey’s decision to do so was one of the reasons she lost the election to Donald Trump.
