Call of Duty LAN is finally back in full force as the first Challengers Open event in months finally takes place at the Minnesota ROKKR Major 2. From an early look at the schedule to which teams are flying out, here’s everything you need to know.

It’s been 24 months since amateur CoD players from around the world had a chance to prove themselves against other regions on LAN. Much has changed since the first Modern Warfare-focused CDL season, but the passion of hungry players has remained.
While there’s $75,000 at stake in Minnesota this weekend CDL Major 2makes the chance to become a star and qualify for the Pro-Am Classic all the more important.

CDL Minnesota ROKKR Challengers Open: Schedule & Streams
The $75,000 Challengers Open Event takes place over three days Friday April 1st to Sunday April 3rd. Everything starts at 10:00 am PT on day one, with day two and day three beginning at 8:00 am PT.
Given the nature of open bracket events, teams can very well compete late into the night. Expect a long few days when the action begins.
Until further notice there is no guarantee of an official broadcast of the Challengers Open. Despite teams paying their way and flying in from all regions, the league doesn’t appear to have any plans to promote the event.
As such, fans need to keep a close eye on social media for all mobile streams. Rest assured we will do our best to update you with the latest results here throughout the day.
CDL Minnesota ROKKR Challengers Open: Format & Prize Pool
96 teams will fight their way through a double elimination bracket at the Challengers Open. At the start, matches are played in best-of-three mode, with teams only needing two map wins to advance.
However, in the top 32, games switch to Best of Five, which is the regular CDL format.

While there is $75,000 up for grabs, along with the usual Challengers points to help with future seeding, the real draw is only available to those who finish in the top four.
The top four teams from the Challengers Open redeem their ticket for the CDL Pro-Am Classic in May. This unique event sees all 12 CDL teams compete in a full LAN tournament with the four qualifying amateur teams.

CDL Minnesota ROKKR Challengers Open Teams
In the first proper Challengers event in two years, teams from all over the world will come to Minnesota to prove themselves once again.
From the APAC region’s best to Europe’s top contenders, there are plenty of veterans and rising stars to watch throughout the group alike.
Texas Nation has dominated the NA Challengers for much of 2022. UYU returns with a stacked lineup. ROKKR’s own European Academy team is making the journey. While three Australian teams in Renegades, Mindfreak and PointBlank also covered their own costs for the competition.
