How to make your house smell like you’ve baked when you’re too lazy to do it

Interior decorator and designer Tatum Culhane shared a trick to making your home smell like a bakery.

First, preheat your oven to 300 degrees.

Next, grab an ovenproof bowl and vanilla extract.

Just pour a little vanilla extract into the bowl and then leave it in the oven for 20 minutes.

With that, voila! Your home smells delicious.

There are other methods to keep your home smelling amazing.

An organizing and cleaning expert known on TikTok as @bysophialee shared this laundry hack keeps her clothes and house smelling nice.

“These products are all from Target, so they’re easy to get and not complicated products, so don’t expect anything fancy,” she began explaining her method.

“But when I use these products together, my apartment smells so good, my closet smells so good, and now people ask me what I’m wearing.”

Her trick to making everything smell great is to add a combination of laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dish soap to her load of laundry.

The first ingredient is OxiClean detergent. She put a small amount in her washing machine.

Next came the part she loves the most: “I feel like this is where the magic really happens.

“This is the best smelling stuff on the planet, and I think the purple smells the best,” she said, holding up a bottle of Downy Infusions Calm Fabric Softener.

She poured a substantial amount into the load, explaining, “Don’t hate me for how much I use because I don’t care. It smells so good.”

Next, she added a few drops of Dawn Dish Soap.

“This is to help remove stains from your laundry. I learned it on TikTok,” she said.

To finish, she added a Shout Color Catcher Pad to the load.

“It’s actually nothing to do with smells, but I’ll show you the whole routine. I put these in every single load and basically they keep your clothes that much brighter.

“It’s crazy what they’re doing. When I take that out, it’s completely black after cleaning.”

She called the combination of products “magical” and gave them a cook’s kiss for being the ultimate solution.
