Apex Legends streamer Svend-Erik ‘Taxi2g’ Høegh has revealed a recoil trick for the Havoc that makes the weapon point accurate.

Recoil control is one of the most difficult techniques to master in Apex Legends, and one that much of the community never seems to understand.

As a result, many players tend to avoid certain weapons if they have too much kickback, and that’s certainly true of the Havoc.

This energy-based AR is deadly deadly at medium range and in the hands of the right players can easily shred an opponent, but even with attachments it’s a difficult weapon to control.

How to control Havoc recoil in Apex Legends

During his March 27th stream, Taxi2g shared a recoil trick for the Havoc that completely eliminates the weapon’s recoil and makes it pinpoint.

While he still recommends players tremble with the AR at long range, Taxi advises players to move left or right when shooting when it comes to close-range combat.

While it seems extremely simple, the constant horizontal movement of your camera while firing will negate most of the gun’s recoil.

Of course, this takes a bit of practice, but it means you don’t have to learn the Havoc’s powerful recoil pattern.

Taxi goes on to say that this close-to-medium range technique can be used with every single weapon in the game, but it’s particularly effective with the Havoc.
